Conducts fraud, waste and abuse, as well as conflicts of interest investigations.General tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Examine and analyze financial records, data and documents.
  • Reviews and analyzes agency records, contracts, policies and procedures.
  • Conduct programmatic reviews and audits.
  • Interviews complainants, witnesses, and subjects of these investigations
  • Prepares written memorandum, referrals and reports.
Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college and two years of satisfactory full-time paid experience in an industrial or governmental agency in the field of investigation, auditing, law enforcement, security or inspections in a major operations area of the organization; or, 2. Graduation from a senior high school and seven years of satisfactory full-time paid experience in an industrial or governmental agency in the field of investigation, auditing, law enforcement, security or inspections in a major operational area of the organization, of which two years must have been in a field assignment; or, 3. A satisfactory equivalent.Department Preferences
  • Prior investigative audit experience
  • Good interviewing skills
  • Good organizational skills
