Investigative Warrant Coordinator
The Queens County District Attorney's Office (QDA) is seeking an Investigative Warrant Coordinator for its Violent Criminal Enterprises Bureau (VCEB). The VCEB is a unit of QDA's Investigations Division that investigates and prosecutes specialized crimes including gang violence, narcotics trafficking, and firearms trafficking activity. The VCEB serves an office of over 750 staff.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preferred Education and Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with an educational focus in Computer Science, Information Systems, Criminal Justice, or related fields is preferred, as well as experience in computer forensic training, technical reporting and writing. All candidates must have at least a high school diploma or its educational equivalent.
Experience working in law enforcement or using any of the following applications is also preferred: Sytech ADACS, Pen-Link, SnagIt, Thomson Reuters CLEAR, LexisNexis Accurint, Westlaw, Verint, or UFED Analyzer.
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
