Job Description:
- Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identifying and assessing potential investment opportunities by analyzing market trends, financial statements, and business models.
- Due Diligence: Conducting thorough research on prospective investments, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscape assessment.
- Portfolio Management Support: Assisting in the monitoring and support of existing portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic guidance.
- Industry Research: Staying informed about developments in sectors relevant to the firm's investment focus, such as healthcare, biotech, artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, sustainability, and new media.
- Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for internal use and for communication with limited partners and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates who have an background in Investments, Engineering, AI, Energy, or Semiconductors.
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative abilities and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the venture capital ecosystem and the specific industries of interest to WI Harper Group
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred

Experience
3-5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related industry experience in Engineering, Investments, AI, Energy, or Semiconductors.
Work Location: San Francisco In person.
