Job description
Our client is a leading investment firm with over $20B AUM. They seek to hire an Investment Associate focused on private credit and special situations investing.
Responsibilities
Participate directly in investment process through direct exposure to senior leadership
Evaluating potential transactions through detailed research and analysis
Conducting due diligence and assisting in the entire process from deal origination to management
Preparing Investment Committee materials
Performing industry sector deep dives in conjunction with industry specialist teams
Lead & support robust corporate models and stress testing
Work with cross functional teams (investment teams, capital markets, finance, risk) to support day-to-day fund/portfolio level decisions
Qualifications
1-5 years of total work experience within an investment bank or investment firm with strong credit knowledge
Experience using Bloomberg beneficial
Strong quantitative skills, modeling with proficiency with Excel
Bachelor s degree from a top-tier institution
Demonstrated professional and academic achievement
Energetic, self-motivated, self-starter who thrives on challenge in a dynamic environment
