Job Description Not-For-Profit Healthcare Investment Banking Jefferies' Not-For-Profit Healthcare Group provides a full suite of advisory and capital markets capabilities to market transforming not-for-profit health system and managed care clients. The Not-For-Profit Healthcare Group, of a team of 13 bankers, provides these services to clients across the US and internationally. The Not-For-Profit Healthcare Group is part of Jefferies' Municipal Securities Group, within the Investment Banking Division, which provides investment banking and capital markets advisory services to issuers of municipal debt, including states, cities, towns, state authorities, and 501(c)(3) borrowers, among others. POSITION: The Not-For-Profit Healthcare Group is actively looking for experienced Analysts for our New York office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: As an Analyst in the Not-For-Profit Healthcare Group, you will rapidly assume significant responsibilities, including: participating in the execution of debt financings and M&A transactions, providing financial modeling to support banking activities; building and maintaining a variety of databases; providing refunding and restructuring analyses; preparing proposal and presentation materials; working closely with senior bankers and our clients on transactions; conducting industry and product research and interfacing with underwriters, salespeople and traders. REQUIRED BACKGROUND/SKILLS: Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to multi-task, managing a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously and sometimes managing conflicting priorities Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as team player Detail-oriented and organized Excellent interpersonal skills QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year undergraduate degree 1+ years of investment banking preferred, consulting or relevant experience in the financial services industry Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Demonstrate professionalism and client management skills The Salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
