Job Title: Investment Banking Associate, Healthcare Reports to: Global Co-Head of Investment Banking Department: Investment Banking Location: NYC or Charlotte, NC Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 This is an opportunity to become a key member of an experienced team building a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will provide support to senior bankers on the Biopharma and Healthcare Services team in a variety of financing and M&A transactions. The candidate must have work relevant experience and a proven track record of providing investment banking services, ideally working on healthcare transactions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in client transactions, projects or assignments as an Analyst of the investment banking team
  • Assist in preparation of presentations for current and prospective clients
  • Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets
  • Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements
  • Perform due diligence investigations
  • Interact with clients and internal banking team
Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • 3+ years of investment banking experience, healthcare related transactions preferred
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
  • Highly motivated, energetic, personable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
