The Global Talent team is responsible for all aspects of talent management, performance management and learning & development for the firm.

Role description:

Core responsibilities include supporting the end-to-end Talent (L&D, Talent Management & Performance Management) strategy and execution for the Investment Banking division in close collaboration with the Global co-Heads of IB HRBPs; reporting to the Global Head of IB Talent. As a member of the global IB Talent team, the candidate will contribute to the global Talent strategy with a focus on Investment Banking.

  • Support the Talent strategy for the IB in line with HR transformation efforts and global Talent priorities.
  • In partnership with the IB Talent Team develop and support the learning & development plan for Investment Banking division including the build out of a bespoke L&D program for the division.
  • Support divisional talent review process including talent identification, succession planning and development planning for senior leaders and key talent identified.
  • Participate in Global Talent initiatives both regionally and globally driven including working groups and practice area focuses.
  • Coordinate with division and regional Talent leads to deliver programs and align processes globally and divisionally.
  • Ensure program design aligns with overall business strategy and requirements.

Support annual needs assessment process to define training requirements for Investment Banking. Collaborate with global colleagues to leverage best in class programs and processes where it makes sense to do so.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of experience in L&D and Talent/Performance Management or Experience with Investment Banking division relative to Talent & Development requirements and programs.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Persistent and agile self-starter who thrives on collaboration, partnership, and innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategies, milestones, and metrics.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills including turning details into insights and actions that are relatable to the client groups.
  • Results-oriented and hands-on approach.
  • Must be an independent thinker, possess strong organization skills, strong customer focus and orientation.
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
