Job Description:

A law firm located in Charlotte, NY, is seeking an Investment Funds Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience in investment management and fund formation. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, solid interpersonal skills, and business development acumen. This role involves direct client contact and requires a strong background in investment funds law to effectively manage and develop client relationships and contribute to the firm's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on investment management and fund formation matters, including structuring and organizing investment funds.
  • Draft and review fund formation documents, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
  • Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice on fund operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand existing relationships.

  • Requirements:
