Compensation: $310,000.00 - $420,000.00 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal analysis and guidance on the structuring, formation, and management of investment vehicles, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and venture capital funds.
- Draft and negotiate complex legal documents related to fund formation and operations, including partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and investment advisory contracts.
- Advise on compliance and regulatory issues affecting funds and management companies, navigating both domestic and international legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, compliance, and operations, to deliver comprehensive legal services and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Engage directly with clients, providing timely and business-savvy legal advice, sustaining and enhancing client relationships through high-quality service and communication.
- Contribute to business development activities within the investment management sector, identifying opportunities for firm growth and strategic partnerships. Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Graduation from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials.
- A minimum of four years' experience specializing in investment management and fund formation.
- Significant exposure to regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to investment funds, with a proven record of navigating complex investment landscapes.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to develop innovative solutions to sophisticated legal issues.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to clearly articulate complex legal concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger team, with a commitment to achieving firm-wide objectives. Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a leading international law firm with a robust investment funds practice.
