The Role:

A prestigious international law firm are looking to onboard numerous Investment Fund Attorneys, from junior to senior level, into their growing practice group. The position is open to either their New York or Boston office location.

The firm was founded nearly 90 years ago and now ranks as a top AM & Vault 10 law firm. They are well established globally with 3,500 attorneys across 30 offices globally. The team advises both start-up and well-established funds, in both domestic and offshore fund structures, including private equity funds, venture capital funds, and real estate funds.

The ideal candidates would have:

• Experience ranging from one year to ten years in a law firm setting.
• Experience in structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds as well as legal, regulatory and compliance matters faced by funds sponsors.
• Experience in private fund formation and regulatory compliance including venture capital, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
• Experience drafting fund-related documentation including partnership and operating agreements, PPMs, and subscription documents.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory issues such as Investment Adviser Act compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A high level of professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, be highlight organised and have great attention to detail.
