The Investor Operations team oversees investor and distribution onboarding.
Handle the operational components of product launches, and capital raise reporting and communications, e.g. capital calls, dividend payments, tenders and more.
Responsibilities:
- Review Investor Subscription Documents to identify any issues and work with the Sales Team and External parties to resolve.
- Assist in the communication of capital events to key distribution relationships.
- Perform reconciliations between internally managed investor information & transfer agents.
- Field inquiries from Financial Advisors, Investors & internal teams on investment offerings.
- Develop strong understanding of distribution partners operational platforms and processes and become resident expert for Advisor and internal inquiries.
- Identify and document operational procedures for ongoing fund maintenance.
- Act as a resource to manage to completion inbound inquiries from investors, financial advisors, and other key partners, including the company Sales Team.
- Liaise with other business units and transfer agents relating to client inquiries, problem resolution and reconciliations.
- Assist Financial Advisors with problem resolution of account opening, maintenances and other inquiries related to client onboarding and client retention (deadlines, platform questions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions).
Requires:
- Bachelor degree required plus approximately 5 years of qualifying experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Focus on MS Excel & PowerPoint).
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask with extreme attention to detail.
- Understanding of asset management middle/back office functions.
- Experience working with DST Systems, iCapital, State Street.
