Job Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Investor Relations:
- Capital Formation: Lead capital-raising initiatives for the firm's upcoming fund, targeting institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Investor Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective investors, providing regular updates on fund performance, market insights, and investment strategies.
- Fund Marketing: Develop and execute a compelling fundraising strategy that includes creating pitch books, presentations, and other marketing materials tailored to investor needs.
Client Relationship Management:
- Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including institutional investors, consultants, and financial advisors.
- Reporting & Transparency: Coordinate and deliver quarterly and annual reports, ensuring clear, transparent communication regarding fund performance and strategic direction.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Industry Trends: Conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitor offerings, and investor preferences to position the fund effectively.
- Benchmarking: Analyze the firm's competitive positioning and recommend improvements in terms of product offerings, fee structures, and investment terms.
Investor Engagement & Events:
- Investor Events: Organize and participate in investor roadshows, conferences, and private events to enhance firm visibility and attract new investors.
- Outreach Campaigns: Design and execute outreach campaigns to engage prospective investors and keep existing investors informed about the firm's initiatives and fund performance.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in real estate investor relations, capital formation, or fundraising within a real estate private equity or investment firm.
- Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of real estate investment strategies, fund structures, and the broader private equity landscape.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with experience preparing investor-facing documents, presentations, and reports.
