We are headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in New York, Boston, Chicago, and London.Crescent is seeking a Consultant Relations AVP to join the Investor Solutions team in its Boston or New York office. The Investor Solutions team is responsible for managing the firm's relationships with investors, prospective investors, and investment consultants and for leading capital-raising activities. As a Consultant Relations AVP, this person will be responsible for developing and maintaining consultant relationships to advance product coverage and ratings. The AVP will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities, capturing market trends, and identifying key themes.A qualified candidate should have the ability to adapt and learn quickly within a fast-paced environment and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated, eager to drive results, organized and detail-oriented. Professionalism and confidentiality are crucial to this role as are critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task.Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: --- Drive growth and retention of Crescent's investment capabilities and products with investment consultants --- Represent the firm and its investment strategies to investment consultants via due diligence meetings, one-on-one engagements and market discussions --- Assume primary responsibility for Tier 2 and 3 investment consultants as well as select Tier 1 firms --- Provide secondary coverage on largest Tier 1 relationships --- Develop strategy for coverage of research, field consultants, and OCIO platforms --- Partner closely with Sales team on consultant intermediated clients and prospects --- Ensure consistent and timely follow up to investment consultant requests --- Evaluate consultant research, industry trends, and manager lineups via investor databases and industry trade publications --- Maintain the team's search/fundraising pipeline and consultant heat map --- Organize briefing notes and presentation materials to be used in consultant meetings --- Provide support on projects related to marketing and maintain consultant distribution tracking for thought leadershipQualifications and Requirements: --- 5-7 years of investment experience with 3 years of consultant relations or investment consulting experience preferred --- Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills --- Fixed Income and private credit product experience and a knowledge/understanding of the competitive landscape --- Strong presentation skills --- Analytical and critical thinking skills --- Superior communication skills (both written and verbal) --- Able to work effectively and efficiently in an entrepreneurial environment --- Highly motivated with a drive for success --- FINRA registrations, including Series 7 and 63, or successful completion of exams within 6 monthsAs an equal opportunity employer, Crescent Capital Group is fully focused on equality and committed to fostering a culture where individuals are respected and supported in a highly collaborative environment.
