Job Summary: The Invoice Reviewer/Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating approvals for invoices related to construction contracts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms.
- Ensure all billed items are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Identify discrepancies and work with project managers and contractors to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all reviewed invoices and related documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management review.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure timely processing of payments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to construction invoicing.
Skills and RequirementsMust Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [8] years of experience in invoice review, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Certification in Construction Management or related field;
- Experience with Construction invoice management platforms
Degree Requirement for Position
- BA/BS Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
