This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and billing procedures.Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract terms.
  • Ensure all billed items are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals.
  • Identify discrepancies and work with project managers and contractors to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all reviewed invoices and related documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management review.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to construction invoicing.
Skills and RequirementsMust Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [8] years of experience in invoice review, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, billing procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
  • Certification in Construction Management or related field;
  • Experience with Construction invoice management platforms
Degree Requirement for Position
  • BA/BS Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
