Job Description:
Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a mature and independent professional to lead our Invoicing and Project Control Team in support of RMC's corporate operations. This role offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where the successful applicant will drive process improvement, mentor a talented team, and ensure operational excellence to both RMC's customers and our program management professionals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Invoicing and Project Control Team, ensuring accuracy of data, timeliness, and compliance with all contractual and deliverable requirements.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of cost projections.
  • Interpret and properly track funding documents.
  • Prepare and review detailed invoices, monthly financial reports, and contract deliverables.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract and subcontract funding documentation, cost analysis, and funding obligations.
  • Develop, implement, and refine processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the team.
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve professional growth and high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead special financial projects, as needed.
Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000.RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial management, project control, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and managing small teams.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Government contracting industry.
  • Familiarity with Government financial systems and regulations.
  • Expertise in preparing cost projections and analyzing funding.
