Willow Health offers patients immediate access to evidence-based virtual crisis psychotherapy, medication management, certified peer coaching, care management, and around the clock crisis coverage, while working to connect patients to the most appropriate next level of care.We are now in the process of expanding our clinical program offering to include an intensive outpatient program (IOP). As an IOP behavioral health clinician, you will provide telehealth evidence-based behavioral health care including comprehensive clinical assessments, differential diagnosis, creating and implementing co-created clinical treatment plans, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy. You will work alongside our diverse and passionate multidisciplinary clinical team taking care of Willow's patients and making an impact in building out our IOP. Our clinical team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, licensed clinical social workers, licensed mental health clinicians, certified peer specialists, case managers, and clinical operations. You will be part of our first IOP team who will work closely with our Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and operational team to launch our virtual IOP. This role will have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute and mold our clinical model and delivery of care. We are looking for a thoughtful, empathic, and skilled clinician to join our highly motivated team to help improve behavioral health. This is a virtual role.Day to Day Responsibilities:Work with the CMO, Medical Director, and operational team to develop and launch our IOP Work with the clinical and operational team to build out our group therapy programingPerform comprehensive clinical assessments, develop differential diagnosis, comprehensive risk assessment, and safety planning. Conduct group and individual psychotherapy sessions utilizing supportive psychotherapy, CBT, motivational interviewing and/or problem solving therapy. Build therapeutic alliance with patients and their familiesCreate and implement co-created personalized treatment plans with our multidisciplinary team. Manage a caseload of patients enrolled in our IOP for 8 weeksUtilize validated clinical tools to aid in differential diagnosis. Work across our multidisciplinary clinical team to facilitate comprehensive behavioral health careActively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.Maintain appropriate documentation of all patient-related careWork with the founding team to continue to refine and iterate on our clinical model and care delivery.Weekly clinical supervision Work with our patients, their families, and their providers in the community to ensure comprehensive behavioral health careRequirements for the role:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent non-U.S. degree) in psychology, clinical social work, or related fields.Successful completion of master's of social work degree or master's of mental health counseling.Hold an active license of clinical social work or license for mental health counseling in New York.Maintain all state requirements and continuing education requirements to provide behavioral health care. Has at least 2 years of clinical experience practicing independently.Has experience working in an intensive outpatient program providing group psychotherapy.Has experience with clinical assessments, developing differential diagnosis, creating and implementing clinical treatment plans.Has experience with clinical risk management, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning.Has experience and is comfortable with using validated clinical tools to help enhance clinical care.Has experience with and is comfortable with using technologyExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.Experience working with an electronic medical record.Nice to haves:Post degree experience in providing group psychotherapy and/or working in an intensive outpatient setting.Comprehensive knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, and recovery issues and principles.Has experience with using clinical outcomes to help enhance clinical care.Has experience launching and iterating on a clinical care model (preferred, not required).Has experience with problem solving therapy, motivational interviewing, supportive psychotherapy.Experience in a start-up healthcare setting and/or an innovative healthcare program (preferred, not required) $85,000 - $115,000 a yearOur Interview Process: - Complete the application- First interview with the hiring manager- Second round of interviews with the team - Clinical skill assessment with the hiring manager- Reference check - Offer- Background check Willow is an equal opportunity employer, indiscriminate of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
