We are looking to hire a RNAs a RN at MercyOne, you will Provide professional nursing skills in a defined setting requiring specialized nursing skills. Provides patient care activities to patients of diverse ages as assigned. Supports patient and family needs. Uses specialized skills within the scope of license to provide care for hospital patients, endoscopy, infusion, research or urgent care settings for a majority of working hours. Is an integral member of the health care team who works to ensure safety, best practice and high quality standards of care are maintained across the continuum.Schedule:Full TimeGeneral Requirements:Triages patients quickly and efficiently per the Urgent Care's policies specific to Triage.Must quickly, efficiently and calmly respond to emergent and critical situations.Initiates emergency support measures (i.e., cardiopulmonary resuscitation, protecting patient from injury).Proficient in IV skills and administration of emergency medicationsManages the complex care of critically ill and injured patients preparing them for transport to Mercy Medical Center.Communicates with patients at a level consistent with age and understanding. Checks and maintains medical equipment and supplies.Utilizes multiple teaching methods. Discharge instructions are reviewed and understanding acknowledged by the patient/family.ACLS certification required within 6 months.Education:RN Required.
