Job Summary
Ingersoll Rand's IR Next Program will provide recent college graduates with challenging assignments in a variety of finance functional areas, leadership training and valuable exposure to our businesses and our company's senior leaders. Through functional rotations and experiences in multiple business locations, selected candidates will be able to build diverse skill sets and a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling career with Ingersoll Rand.
These assignments and specialized development curriculum are strategically designed to ensure the candidate's continuous learning and development. Ingersoll Rand's 24-month rotational program offers candidates who have recently obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (or other related field) exposure to a variety of assignments which could include: Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, Budgeting and Planning, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis, Internal Controls, Compliance and Project Management, and Treasury.
The objective of the IR Next program is to develop and grow the participant's financial and business acumen as well as the leadership skills necessary to prepare them for a role in the Finance organization upon successful completion of the program.
Basic Qualifications
We are looking for performance-driven, innovative leaders who understand the importance of collaboration and customer focus.
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field completed between May 2025 and June 2025, or 5th year Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, to be completed between December 2024 and June 2025
* Related majors include: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Math, or Operations
* Have completed, or plan to complete, accounting courses up to and including Intermediate Accounting (or college/university equivalent)
* Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
* Previous Finance Co-Op/Internship or other practical experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
* Leadership experience in an extra-curricular activity or organization
* Available for duration of the program (24 months) with a tentative start date of August 2025
* Sponsorship for work visas are not available for this program
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position will be based within the US with occasional travel. Must be willing to relocate to any Ingersoll Rand location, up to two times, over the duration of the program.
