Project Name: Wild Plains Wind ProjectProject Location: 191 S Rock Road, Oxford, KSPRIMARY OBJECTIVE(S) OF POSITIONResponsible for marking, positioning, and securing structural steel members to reinforce concrete or building structures.RESPONSIBILITIESA. Setting up, flagging, and inspecting a craneB. Inspecting rigging properlyC. Running a site levelD. Checking-in truck deliveries against bill of lading when load arrivesE. Counting bars and bundles of rebar, dobies, and wire meshF. Directing forklift/crane to unload delivery truckG. Shaking out rebar and distributing/organizing accordinglyH. Using pliers to tie rebar intersections with tie wireI. Splicing mats or rebar sections together with short rebar dowelsJ. Understanding building codes/requirementsK. Cutting excess rebar ends and miscellaneous pieces with gas cut saw or cutting torchL. Installing mechanical rebar splices by bolting or welding ends togetherM. Installing caps on vertical rebar dowels for safetyN. Installing rebar dowels into fresh concrete footingsO. Determining number, size, shape, and location of reinforcing rods from blueprints, sketches, or oral instructionsP. Bending steel rods with hand tools or rodbending machineQ. Reinforcing concrete with wire meshR. Ornamental Ironworker: Installing prefabricated ornamental ironworkS. All other duties as assignedT. Renewable Energy Group Accountabilities:1. Receiving and offloading all major components2. Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparation3. Connecting blades to hub4. Setting base and tower sections5. Managing taglines6.
