* A 1-year probationary period is required.

* A 1-year supervisory or managerial probationary period is required.

* Undergo a review of prior performance/conduct and an income tax verification. * This position requires that the successful candidate undergo personnel vetting, which includes a background investigation and enrollment upon onboarding into Continuous Vetting. Enrollment in Continuous Vetting will result in automated record checks being conducted throughout one's employment with Treasury. The successful candidate will also be enrolled into FBI's Rap Back service, which will allow Treasury to receive notification from the FBI of criminal matters (e.g., arrests, charges, convictions) involving enrolled individuals in near real-time. Qualifications

To be eligible you must meet ONE of the following requirements:

* A Disabled Veteran.

* Veterans who served on active duty in the Armed Forces during a war declared by Congress, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized.

* Veterans who, while serving on active duty in the Armed Forces, participated in a military operation for which the Armed Forces Service Medal (AFSM) was awarded, to include the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

* Veterans separated from active duty within the past 3 years.
