Responsibilities
Essential duties:
- Pick customer orders
- Receive incoming shipments and check for irregularities or damages
- Breakdown pallet loads
- Inventory restocking
- Assist with periodic physical inventory count as needed
- Consistently meet or exceed daily productivity requirements
- Ability to effectively operate Voice Picking
- Lift, move, and reposition product weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Comply with requirements for quality, productivity, safety and company policies
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including TS16949 and ISO14000 related policies as applicable
Other Duties:
- Perform warehouse housekeeping and workplace 5S
- Participation in Safety, Wellness, Quality Circles, and Kaizen campaigns and programs as needed.
- Other job related tasks as assigned by direct Supervisor or Warehouse Management
Qualifications
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Some experience working in a warehouse preferred
- Good communication skill in writing and verbally, using the English language
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
- Ability to safely operate various warehouse related equipment
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing at least the minimum essential functions of the job required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a keyboard and mouse
- Ability to see and hear (correctable)
- Ability to communicate (oral and verbal) in English language
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. on own and/or over 50 lbs. with assistance
- Ability to walk, stand, or sit for long periods of time and use repetitive motions
- Ability to climb, kneel/squat, bend, lift, carry
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, reach, twist
- Ability to work at heights and/or using ladders or lifts
- Ability to work overtime on regular basis (often at short notice)
- Ability to wear steel-toe shoes and Personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to travel (management roles only)
