Full-Time IS Information/Technical Analyst VI - IT Customer Service Manager at City of Saint Paul Available Openings: 1 Posted Date: January 14, 2022 Industry: Technology Pay Type: Salary Compensation: $87,505.60 General Duty Statement Performs highly complex professional and technical work to identify, develop, and institute architectural plans for information, applications, and enterprise systems. Recommends a strategic direction and planning for specific aspects of City technology environment infrastructure, and framework. Works with Office of Technologyand Communications (OTC) Management and devises the technology framework, procedures, and practices. Develops written policies and technical standards based on laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Reviews and prioritizes contracts, purchases, and enhancements to the infrastructure. Acts as a liaison with technology vendors. Performs others duties and responsibilities as required.

Information Specific to this Position: The position will be expected to provide the highest complexity service desk, desktop equipment and services, and integration of communication needs for all City departments and offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the service desk and desktop service section including to establish work efforts, supervise and direct the work of staff and ensure service delivery. Assess metrics, staff performance, and handle the most complex service issues. Acts as an expert resource to connect customer service efforts with other OTC sections such as infrastructure and enterprise functions. Consults with OTC management and makes recommendations regarding projects to align with enterprise-wide strategic development.

Serves as a member of the IS leadership team. Solves problems using the most sophisticated tools and corresponding solutions. Maintains knowledge of emerging trends in best practices and new technologies. The eligible list created from this assessment will also be used to fill IS Information/Technical Analyst VI positions as they become available within the City.

**Qualifications**

Requirements Requirements may be met by one of the following: A Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Technology, or a related field and seven years of work experience related to the vacancy. A vacancy-related technical school certificate and nine years of work experience related to the vacancy. Must possess and maintain a valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-state driver's license.
