Role: IS Support Specialist
Location: Bartlesville, OK
Contract Duration: Long TermAs an Information Systems Support Process Specialist, you will play a key role in strengthening our global Information Systems team, helping in Manufacturing and inthe front offices in Bartlesville Oklahoma, executing Information Systems activities within all Information Systems process domains, as well as assisting with other Facilities assigned tasks. This could include machine maintenance, computer networking and electrical work. In this role you will be part of a team applying broad Information Systems technology knowledge and expertise to aid global business needs and help solve difficult topics. You should also have knowledge of all round Facilities maintenance and P.M. tasks.Responsibilities:
- Utilizing your knowledge of Information Systems technology and business requirements to guide colleagues in implementation and operation.
- Supporting the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of Information Systems solutions/services
- Providing assistance and guidance during installation of new Information Systems solutions/services or improvements to existing ones
- Delivering Information Systems solutions/services according to agreements, on time and on budget and according to responsibility specifications
- Consulting with relevant stakeholders across the business to give advice, ensuring compliance with ABB Information Systems enterprise architecture
- Providing leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, disseminating expert knowledge and advice.
- Supporting General Facility IT support to employees.
- General Periodic Maintenance on manufacturing equipment as it relates to Information System solutions.
Background:
- 2 years of experience in IS , working as IS and Facilities realms with Microsoft, SAP, Xerox, networking basics, basic hand tool knowledge LV wiring and cabling
- Sound knowledge of basic networking desktop technologies and manufacturing / assembly market
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on your time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams
- A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-oriented approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- An Associate degree in IS or Facilities Maintenance and / or current progress toward a bachelor's degree, or demonstrated experience.
