Our services include specialty trades (insulation, fireproofing, painting/coatings, scaffolding & heat tracing) in addition to our mechanical and civil capabilities. Position Overview:The Shop Helper position is a support position to ISO Services. The Helper provides support for all crafts including, but not limited to, civil/concrete, mechanical/pipe, electrical, scaffold, insulation, and coatings.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Keeps safe work habits as the highest priority at all timesFollows policies and practices as stated in the Employee Handbook and other facility policy and procedure manualsMaintains a clean and well-organized workspace at all timesStrives to develop good working relationships with all co-workers, customers, and associatesReceive training and operate a forklift to do various tasksPerform all duties as instructed by the crew foremanLearn to read and understand drawingsLearn new skillsProjects a positive, can-do attitude to all customersOther miscellaneous duties as requestedEducational Requirements:Requires High School Diploma or G.E.D.Requires successful completion of training as outlined by ISO Services. Requires communication and organizational skills, strong work ethic, willingness to contribute in all aspects, and motivation to learn new skills.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift a minimum of 50#.Must be in a physical condition that will allow walking long distancesMust be able to work in high places (no fear of heights)Must be able to work in any environment (heat, cold, rain)Must be able to physically work up to 84 hours a week, if necessaryMust be able to stand for a long period of timeMust be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, reach and climbMust be able to work in confined spacesMust be well-groomed
