This includes conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to the organization's information systems, networks, and data. Requires regular monitoring and reporting of compliance with established policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of potential risks and compliance requirements. Oversees the implementation of security controls and technologies to protect the organization's information assets, including data encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop incident response plans and procedures to ensure timely and effective response to security incidents.The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days at one of the following locations:* Washington, DC* Cincinnati, OH* Minneapolis, MN* Charlotte, NCPreferred Skills/Experience* Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience* Typically five or more years of relevant experience* Effective communication and collaboration skills* Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise mannerIn this role, the Senior IS Risk & Compliance Consultant will lead/support PCI Compliance initiatives and assessments to align with the information security GRC strategy & overall security goals of U.S. Bank .*
Manage and perform information security compliance-related assessments concerning Payment Card Industry (PCI) controls.* Provide subject matter expertise and drive enhancements for one or more PCI compliance authoritative sources (PCI DSS; PCI PIN; PCI P2PE; etc.). Including communication of changes and impacts to effected areas.* Assist in providing governance and oversight for the Bank's PCI compliance program and related processes necessary to meet the Bank's obligations.* Support PCI related assessments, customer requests, and business line needs pertaining to PCI standards.* Identify and track information security compliance observations/findings occurring from PCI assessments. Facilitate remediation discussions and monitor remediation efforts outside of assessment windows.* Perform communication outreach to identified areas concerning updates to PCI standards, controls, and processes within U.S. Bank.* Assist in managing, reviewing, and updating the PCI Consulting team's assortment of PCI guidance documents.Top Skills:1. Have to be able to collaborate and work with others and have the ability to communicate both verbal and written is important.2.
