(SEI) is seeking an experienced and proactive IT & Admin Systems Support Specialist to oversee the technology infrastructure and ensure seamless operations across the organization. This role is essential in managing SEI's communication systems, computer oversight, tech support, and administrative tools. The Specialist will lead the development of agency-wide communication platforms, build dashboards for operational efficiency, and implement technological processes that enhance workflow and collaboration. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES1. Computer System Oversight
- Ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and management of SEI's computer systems, including sourcing, procurement, inventory control, and troubleshooting.
- Oversee hardware and software installations, updates, and ongoing system health across the organization.
2. Strengthening Internal Communication
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance internal communication systems, ensuring seamless collaboration between departments.
- Provide technical support and training to staff to foster better use of communication tools, ensuring optimal efficiency and understanding across teams.
3. Agency-Wide Communication Infrastructure
- Lead the creation and management of a robust, agency-wide communication infrastructure that includes the integration of an internal communications platform.
- Ensure this infrastructure supports transparent, timely, and effective communication throughout the organization.
4. Building Dashboards & Data Tools
- Design and build customized dashboards to track key organizational metrics, optimize workflows, and provide insight into operational performance.
- Train and support staff in utilizing dashboards for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
5. Tech Support & Process Implementation
- Provide comprehensive technical support to all departments, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and a high standard of customer service.
- Identify, develop, and roll out new technology-driven processes to enhance administrative workflows and operational efficiency.
6. System Management & Integration
- Manage various technology systems within SEI, ensuring their integration and functionality to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee ongoing system updates, monitor performance, and ensure all systems align with SEI's mission and long-term strategy.
QualificationsQualifications:
- Strong proficiency in RingCentral, Microsoft 365 (including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), Smartsheet, and dashboard-building tools.
- Proven experience in managing technology infrastructure, including communication platforms, computer systems, and tech support.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive system management and process optimization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship-building across departments.
- Ability to train and develop staff to improve tech literacy and internal communication.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
- Certifications in IT support or system management.
