Swingtech is currently looking for a full time IT administrator/Helpdesk analyst with 4+ years of experience to support internal projects/users in the Greenbelt, MD location and nationwide.
Position Summary: The IT administrator/Helpdesk analyst will work on the Corporate IT Support team to assist users and complete internal IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining, configuring the corporate network (LANs, VLANs, Routers, Firewalls, and Switches)
- Conduct regular monitoring and reviews of the network logs
- Maintenance and configuration of Active Directory services, Azure instances, and Domain Controllers
- Perform maintenance and installation tasks related to Windows servers hosted on premises
- Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation and maintain standard operating procedures and maintain the artifacts in a document repository
- Provide status updates and reports as required for the Network and System Administration, and Engineering Support activities
- Work collaboratively with other team members and clients to rapidly address, isolate, and resolve issues.
- Manage support and incident tickets submitted by end-users.
- Perform system provisioning for new employees being onboarded.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience supporting an enterprise network, including LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN technologies based on Cisco hardware (Meraki/ASA Firewalls and Routers) and platform
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical components and troubleshooting techniques as they relate to business office hardware and infrastructure
- Intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN/SD-WAN Network hardware and infrastructure
- Understanding of Infrastructure, server and network design, configuration, and administration
- Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell scripting and generating reports with it
- Intermediate knowledge of M365 services, Intune, Azure Active Directory
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Administration, Group Policy Management (GPO)
- Intermediate knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery solutions and systems
- Advanced knowledge of software troubleshooting principles and techniques
- Intermediate knowledge of secure engineering practices and frameworks like NIST, CIS, and HIPAA.
- Intermediate knowledge of configuring SIEMs for monitoring and auditing.
- JIRA administration knowledge is a plus.
