This role provides planning and direction for current and future systems, including hardware and software; ensures all systems are monitored and maintained to provide the best solutions for Pitscos overall business strategy; provides recommendations about current and emerging technology as it relates to Pitscos core objectives; and provides top-level support in a professional manner to end users. These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):Working with management to provide input on short- and long-term plans for Pitscos information systemsIdentifying, researching, and making recommendations for technology changes to best fit the needs of PitscoImplementing plans and changes for Pitsco networking and services with minimal interruption to businessImplementing and maintaining the disaster recovery plan to ensure systems reliabilityEnsuring the guidelines in the company IT Security Policy are implementedRecommending, installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices as well as peripheral devices including printers, scanners, copiers, and so onRecommending, installing, configuring, and maintaining network computer systems including physical, virtual, and cloud serversRecommending, installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software including firewalls, switches, VPN, and wireless for both LAN and WAN connectivityRecommending, installing, configuring, and maintaining phone systems servers, handsets, faxes, and other softwareWorking with phone and Internet providers to maintain voice and data connectivity and troubleshoot issuesInstalling, configuring, and maintaining network management tools (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, AntiVirus, Exchange, O365, Equallogic SAN.
