You will lead complex projects, mentor junior architects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence.About the team:The Enterprise Solution Architecture team is responsible for collaborating and guiding Product Owners and Managers, sharing technology capabilities that can shape and influence strategies to drive value, a shift left commitment to the organization to meet goals and objectives. The team is also responsible for:Discovery SolutioningDetailed Solution BlueprintsIntegration standards and solutions (APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming)Cloud enablement and solutioningM&A due diligence supportThey work closely with the Engineering teams including System Architects to evolve these architecture assets.What you will be doing:Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive the architectural vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.Solution Design: Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across various platforms and technologies.Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and other emerging technologies.Project Management: Lead large-scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Innovation: Stay abreast of payment industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the architectural practice to maintain a competitive edge.Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies.What you will need:Bachelor's in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience - post-graduate education desired.Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and designing enterprise-level solutions.Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable.Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.Added bonus if you have:Experience in the Payments Industry.Experience in Product Management.What we offer you:At Worldpay, we hire the best. The pay range for this full-time position is $153,180.00 - $257,360.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
