NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages. NKHS has over 450 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school based counseling, emergency care, and respite services. These services are provided annually to nearly 4,000 of our local community members, helping them overcome challenges and achieve health in mind, body, and spirit. Visit us at Check out Life in the NEK of Vermont RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE Provide help desk support to staff, addressing and resolving their technical queries and issues promptly. Manage equipment moves, repairs, and installations, encompassing both end-user devices and network infrastructure. Collaborate with the IS team to develop and update operational procedures, ensuring system security and integrity. Assist in maintaining and improving technical infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, servers, operating systems, and user accounts, while also overseeing data backups. Contribute to IS policy and project committees, sharing insights and expertise as needed. Work closely with IT leadership to manage phone systems, voicemail, and repairs, while also collaborating with MIS team members on procedural updates and software upgrades recommended by the Chief of IT. Requirements: High school diploma required. Related certification or associates degree preferred. 1-2 years of experience using computers, computer network systems, project management, information security laws, network maintenance, and electronic information control technologies.
