Join our dynamic Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team at Natixis Americas, which supports four key business lines: Macro/Commodities, GSF, Equity Solutions, and Credit. Our team is a blend of innovative software developers and skilled IT business analysts, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment alongside end-users. We engage in local projects and global initiatives, interfacing closely with our Head Office in Europe and our Asian platform.

In this role, you will support in-house applications related to intraday risk and positions management, pricing and booking of both manual and electronic trades, flow business, and positions hedging. You will also provide expertise on vendor trading platforms utilized by our traders and sales teams.

We are seeking a proactive IT Business Analyst who can help us enhance our operations on the NY platform. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of financial instruments and business practices, along with the ability to act as the Product Owner for our projects, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with business objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents, process flows, and use cases using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Support Trading Desks:
    • Provide direct support in analyzing and resolving production issues promptly and effectively.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with software developers and other departments to implement innovative technology solutions.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Product Ownership:
    • Act as the Product Owner for projects, defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap.
    • Prioritize project backlogs based on business value and stakeholder feedback.
    • Write clear user stories in Jira for IT developers, ensuring requirements are understood and met.
    • Communicate effectively with development teams to facilitate project execution.
  • Training and Development:
    • Provide mentorship and support to junior analysts and team members.
    • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
    • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a Global Markets front-office environment.
    • Strong knowledge in one or more domains such as trade and booking gateways, electronic trading, financial modeling and analysis tools, and intraday risk and P&L.
    • Familiarity with financial products including Interest Rate Derivatives, Interest Rate Term Structures, FX, Repo, Equity Cash, and Stock Borrow Loan.
    • Experience with trading systems and financial software platforms.
    • Proficiency in Agile practices and methodologies.
    • Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

    The salary range for this position will be between $115,000 - $175,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
