The role of the Information Technology Business Partner is to build relationships with their supported functional area/department and, along with other members of the IT organizations, maintain and deliver solutions that bring value to the organization. Specific Duties Include: •Builds and maintains strong relationships with process owners and super users. •Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of supported business unit/function processes and technologies used. •Facilitates enhancement change prioritization process within business unit by establishing stakeholder and user groups where applicable. Provides input into IT Strategic Roadmap, representing supported business unit. •Manages the demand queue set partner expectation on deliverables. •Manages stakeholder perceptions and expectations with all IT services. •Assists in the development of metrics used to track value delivery. •Assists in gathering high level business requirements and scope during initial discovery. •Supports the development of business cases requiring IT-based solutions. •Interfaces with vendors to understand whether their products will meet business and technical requirements. •Manages relationship with existing technology vendors. Utilizes relationship to problem solve and manage the enhancement request process. •Maintains knowledge of multiple business functions and initiatives to identify where conflicts/synergies exist between technology and business functions. •Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies. •Provides input to the business unit leaders to facilitate with prioritizing and shaping the portfolio of enhancements and projects. •Manages the demand management process and portfolio for the function/region with strong global alignment. •Identifies and mitigates potential problems and conflicts with IT solution delivery. •Along with the Business Analyst, drives the documentation of the to be business processes and identification of significant changes from current processes. •Supports the solutions delivery and software development teams in areas that require an understanding of business processes and participates in design reviews. •Performs system configuration to deliver system and process enhancements. •Creates and curates knowledge content for IT solutions. •Assesses business process and system inefficiencies. •Develops and executes test plans, facilitates user acceptance testing. •Supports system conversions, upgrades, enhancements. •Assists in the development of business architecture standards and documentation. •Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Company and RDO Equipment Co. •Responsible for ensuring that sound and safe business practices and processes are implemented and continuously improved to effectively and efficiently achieve ethical business objectives. •Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook. •Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set. •Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Job Requirements: •Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering •2-5 years' of IT experience, including business analysis and quality assurance •Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts •Broad IT domain experience •Strong communication, presentation, leadership skills, process modeling skills •Familiarity with general business functions •Problem solving and communications skills •Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
