About the role, Your Impact: Concentric Integration provides full-service automation of water/wastewater systems (including design, implementation, and support). The IT Consultant role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving,munication, and customer relationship management skills. This position requires a driven individual who can work independently and assist in streamlining processes. The IT Consultant works directly with clients and management to design, troubleshoot, and maintain technology solutions for Concentric clients in a fast-paced growing environment. Municipal-specific expertise is preferred but not required. Full-cycle project-focused IT experience is expected. What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the job: Work with other Concentric staff to successfully implement municipal technology applications (SCADA, AMR, GIS, etc.) as well as standard business software. Directly, regularly interface, consult, andmunicate with clients & management. Monitoring security advisories to ensure necessary IT-related security updates, patches, and preventive measures are in place. Monitor and support anti-malware systems. Work with the ticketing system to ensure client requests are being resolved promptly and escalate if necessary. Assist in developing our remote management tool to perform maintenance. Identify, Communicate, and Mitigate potential risks at client sites. Maintain and update system firewalls and related security devices. Perform regularly scheduled proactive maintenance on various devices in client environments andmunicate scheduling. Strong attention to detail and deliverable quality (format, content, readability) is expected. Assist the Concentric team with system development design, testing, and implementation. Ability to travel locally as required. When skill level is at a level ofpetence to allow for independent work assignments, the IT Consultant will be expected to be on-call 24/7 to troubleshoot network/server outages. The staff rotates on-call duties weekly between employees. 15-minute initial (phone) response time to outages when on-call is expected unless prior arrangements have been made (vacation, time off, etc.). Must-haves, what you will bring: Understanding of ticketing systems and RMM tools. Working knowledge with Windows Operating Systems 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022 required. Hands-on experience maintaining and basic troubleshooting wired and wireless networks, including but not limited to firewalls and switches. Manufacturers should include Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, and Aruba. Willingness to grow in the industry and obtain certifications. Document issues and resolutions by utilizing the service desk system. Experience writing clear, concise technical documentation andmunicating non-technically. Excellentanizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Working knowledge of the Active Directory, Group Policy, and server virtualization (Microsoft and/or VMware) preferred. Compensation: The pay range for this role is $56,160 to $65,000. Actualpensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. You matter!
