DescriptionSummary: Wausau Supply Company (WSC) relies on technology to drive all aspects of the business. The IT Cybersecurity Specialist role will support the Infrastructure Team to provide level 1 and level 2 Information Technology (IT) network/system support across all technology platforms for both internal employees and external customers. This role will be responsible for informing and updating the company's cybersecurity strategy, monitoring and resolving security-related tickets, developing and maintaining cybersecurity awareness programs, and serving as the primary contact for cybersecurity related concerns and issues. Duties to include, (but not limited to):
- Inform and update WSC layered cybersecurity strategy and roadmap based on data provided by risk assessments, audits, best-in-class industry frameworks, penetration tests, tabletop exercises, and third-party recommendations.
- Manage Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) systems, Microsoft Defender, and third-party security solutions and relationships.
- Drive execution of cybersecurity roadmap in balance with urgent closure of intelligent monitoring findings.
- Support executive communications on cybersecurity efforts for senior leaders, customers, industry peers, and board members.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues utilizing support tools, remote access, internet resources, internal documentation, and peer support as appropriate.
- Document all efforts in support ticketing systems.
- Monitor and track incidents to ensure resolution occurs within customer service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop, maintain, and conduct a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training program for all employees to ensure ongoing awareness and compliance, including tabletop exercises.
- Plan, coordinate, and audit regular maintenance tasks including updates, upgrades, backup monitoring, and test restores.
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure information security meets the needs of the organization.
- Maintain current and accurate documentation of system configurations.
- Engage and contribute to long-term IT projects as outlined by special project charters.
- Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:
- Possess a minimum of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Working Demands / Physical Requirements:
- General office conditions with continuous sitting with heavy computer usage.
- Occasional short-term out-of-town travel for educational purposes.
- Afterhours support on a rotational basis.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
