In the end, you will leave feeling accomplished, valuable and having made a difference.The Information Technology department is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join their team in Belle Plaine, MN!Position Summary:Cambria is excited to offer a valuable internship opportunity for a motivated college student looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. As a Data Analytics Intern, you will work alongside a team of experienced data analysts, contributing to real-world projects that directly influence key business decisions. This internship will provide you with exposure to the full data lifecycle-from data collection and cleaning to advanced analysis and visualization-using state-of-the-art tools like Snowflake, Python, and Tableau.   • Capstone Project: Complete and present a capstone project related to department business needs. This will include research, analysis, and presenting the overall findings and suggestions to peers and Cambria Leaders.
  • Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and presentations that summarize key findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Tool Proficiency: Develop proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies used by Cambria, such as SQL, Python (pandas, numpy), and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Project Collaboration: Work collaboratively with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver impactful results.
  • Research and Exploration: Conduct research and explore new data analysis techniques and technologies to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies.
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis using tools like SQL, Python, or R.
  • Basic understanding of data visualization principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery practices such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Requirements:Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or a related program. Expected graduation date of 2025, 2026, and 2027.Experience: Some experience in a related field preferredSystems: SQL, Python, Git, Snowflake, TableauAdditional Requirements:Managerial Responsibilities: NoTravel Requirements: Limited travel locally (Eden Prairie, Le Sueur, and Belle Plaine)Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily. Must be able to stand, bend and twist while performing service work.Program Dates: May 19, 2025 - August 8, 2025; M-F; 40 hour work weekTo ensure you don't miss this opportunity, it's recommended to apply as soon as possible.
