Job Description:

Essential Job Responsibilities/Expectations

1. Job responsibilities include those listed in the competencies document.

2. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.

3. Troubleshoot and solve computer hardware issues (hard drives, network adapters, RAM, interface cards, etc.)

4. Installing new Windows operating systems on client computers using SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) as needed, including installing device drivers and other software required for the computers to operate properly.

5. Receive equipment, unbox, inventory and update ServiceNow database as required.

6. Active Directory: creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, groups, computer accounts, organizational units (OUs), and other objects in the directory service database.

7. Administer all aspects of network printer systems, including setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, to ensure optimal operation.

8. Assist with network troubleshooting including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP reservations.

9. Participates in on-call rotation schedule, to include daily, after hours and weekends, to provide 24x7 client support.

10. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications/Training:

1. Experience: 3+ years providing technical assistance using PC operating systems, hardware and software applications, and Internet applications

2. Technical skills: Proficient in desktop and laptop support, Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.

3. Problem-solving abilities: Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption to user productivity.

4. Excellent communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.

5. Customer service orientation: A proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support, with the ability to empathize and provide timely solutions.

6. Time management: Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines effectively.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve technical challenges, share knowledge, and contribute to process improvements.

Licenses/Certifications:/Registrations/Education:

1. Associate Degree in Business/Healthcare/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
