We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and networks. This is an

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. System & Network Administration: Maintain and support IT systems, including servers,

workstations, routers, firewalls, and switches.

2. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide timely troubleshooting and support for hardware,

software, and networking issues. Address user inquiries and resolve technical problems

effectively.

3. Software Installation & Updates: Install, configure, and update software applications and

security patches across the organization's network.

4. Security: Monitor and maintain the security of IT systems, ensuring data protection and

compliance with company policies.

5. Backup & Recovery: Manage backup systems, monitor backup processes, and perform

recovery procedures when necessary.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand and address their IT needs

and provide solutions to improve efficiency.

7. Projects: Be the IT lead for installation of systems and applications on-time and on-budget to

support all company departments.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT procedures, system configurations,

and troubleshooting processes

  • JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
  • Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus.
