Job SummaryMust demonstrate the ability to manage complex contracts with CAMC I/T vendors and suppliers. Must demonstrate the ability to manage contracts against established performance metrics. Must demonstrate ability to provide concise, timely reporting in readily readable format such as performance report card. Must demonstrate the ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement. Must demonstrate the ability to plan, develop, and organize CAMC I/T budget requirements, and to track progress towards financial goals. Must demonstrate the ability to manage day-to-day contract issues consistent with the needs of the operations of the I/T organization. Must demonstrate skill to influence personnel through a matrix organization as opposed to line management authority with positive outcomes. Must demonstrate ability to write technical policy documents for non-technical audiences.Responsibilities• Provides oversight of all I/T Vendor Software License Agreements. • Tracks all responsibilities and service delivery items in Service Level Agreements to insure compliance. • Manages report card for achievement of service level delivery for CAMC Health System. • Prepares and analyzes management reports that highlight operational results and trends for senior management team. • Tracks all invoices and appropriate documentation for vendor agreements and escalates variances in a timely manner. • Reports regularly to I/T Finance and Contract Lead progress against all contract terms and works with vendor site manager to resolve discrepancies with regard to service expected and service delivered. • Works with I/T Finance and Contract Lead to prepare and maintain operating and capital budgets for the IT portion of the I/T, including multi-year projections. • Coordinates with the other members of the I/T Management team to provide administrative support in the evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, acquisition and implementation of new capabilities and enhancement of existing capabilities. • Coordinates with the other member of the I/T Management team to provide administrative support in the review and recommendation of all I/T software/hardware maintenance renewals. Also works with our I?T contract management firm to make certain we are receiving fair market or better pricing. Make recommendations to VP of I/T and CIO 60 days before contract expiration. • Coordinates and submits all I/T related Expense and Capital purchase orders. • Perform periodic audits of all I/T telephony related expenses. • Responsible for work plan development and oversigt to insure regulatory compliance. • Provides primary support to the I/TFinance and Contract Lead in the creation of annual Service Level Agreement update. • Performs projections of I/T expense patterns (hardware, software, implementation services, full time payroll, outsourcing, etc.) and identifies opportunities for cost savings and/or increased productivity from either currently retained by CAMC or contracted through the Outsourcing Agreement. • Reviews and analyzes internal procedures and develops optimum metrics (utilization, incoming telephone calls, location and frequency, etc.) • Tracks and manages agreements, correspondence and institutional required licensure to assure CAMC maintains compliance with vendor and government reporting. Provides oversight of data submission verification for all registries that CAMC participates including CMS, DNV, STS, ACC, etc. Provides monthly reporting on actions taken and required for 30 days past and forward. • Tracks and orders all hardware, software and minor durables for all I/T Cost Centers. • Negotiates pricing with I/T vendors through developed bidding processes to ensure best pricing.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesPatient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact)The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department's identified patient ages.
