The IT Finance & Operations Support role is responsible for tracking the status of vendor contracts and managing the processing of purchase orders and invoices efficiently and effectively. This role will support end to end management of financial processes for IT including, but not limited to, the creation of purchase orders, processing of invoices, issue resolution, and ensuring expenses are classified appropriately for accurate tracking and reporting.
This role will establish an approach to tracking IT vendor agreements. The IT Finance & Operations Support role will work independently across the IT organization and with key stakeholders to identify contract renewal timing, progress, budget implications, and pro-actively escalate risks and issues. This role will also support basic reporting to the IT Leadership Team.
The IT Finance and Operations Support will track and update actuals based on monthly spend and work across the IT organization and Digital Teams to ensure an accurate spend forecast. This role will also ensure that Capital Expense reporting is processed and tracked appropriately for all technology projects. Additional activities includes supporting the creation of the annual budget.
The IT Finance & Operations Support role will be responsible for communicating Finance policy and process changes to the IT organization and be a point of contact for IT resources.
Responsibilities
50% Purchase Order and Invoice Processing
* Drive efficiency and effectiveness of processing purchase order and invoicing requests in support of IT team members and key stakeholders
* Ensure requests are submitted timely and accurately
* Communicate to requestor and vendor in the event of any issues or delays
* Provide support to IT team members on any issues or challenges and pro-actively work with Support Teams to resolve issues quickly
* Ensure key processes are documented, maintained and available for IT's reference
20% IT Vendor Contract Support
* Develop approach to advise IT vendor owners of contract renewal timing
* Monitor the progress of the process and capture impact of renewals for the IT budget forecast
* Prepare contracts for electronic signature and provide fully executed copies to appropriate contacts
* Communicate status of progress and raise issues pro-actively
20% Special projects and activities in support of the IT Organization budget management, PMO support activities, and reporting
Education and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or 4+ years of directly related experience
* Must have knowledge of accounting systems and excel spreadsheets (pivots, charts, formulas, etc.)
* Experience in Information technology contracting and budgeting preferred
* Pharma/Biotech industry experience preferred

Spark takes into consideration a combination of candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary for potential new employees. The base salary range for this position is currently from $65,200.00 to $97,800.00.
