ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for providing users with technical support with computers systems, hardware, or software. Respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, determine and implement solutions. We are looking for self-starters who can work both independently and, in a team, setting. Duties include answering store calls, upgrading software, building PCs, etc. This position requires the ability to work with limited supervision.

Essential Functions:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and all applicable hardware
  • Performs basic network administration
  • Provides end user support and training (onsite and remote)
  • Virus and Malware Removal
  • Email Troubleshooting with Outlook
  • Keeps all systems up to date with latest patches, security updates, firmware updates
  • Documents IT processes and configurations
  • Keeps up to date with latest technology advancements
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
  • Train new users
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office 2007 and later experience
  • Microsoft Windows 7 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Windows Server / Active Directory administration
  • Working knowledge of server hardware and network configurations, including web servers
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC configurations and connectivity issues
  • Minimum 2 years of help desk experience
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Experience administering MS Windows
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
  • Teamwork and excellent customer service skills required

Work Environment:

This position operates in a variety of settings including vehicles, laboratories, dispensaries with patients, greenhouses, and outdoors. This position operates within a manufacturing environment and requires daily use of personal protective equipment such as respirators, hair nets, gloves, and goggles. When outside of the manufacturing center, professional attire is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand at a workstation for extended periods; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and ability to work on iPad, laptop or desktop for extended periods of time reading, reviewing and analyzing information and providing recommendations and summaries to patients. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employees may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 25 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
