Our fast-paced, user-centric culture aims to change the approach to chronic condition care management using technology to support health-care providers.Job Overview:We have an opening for a Part-Time Contractor IT Help Desk Associate on the Brook Health Operations team. This position has potential for contract-to-hire. We are seeking a proactive support specialist to provide comprehensive technical support for our internal systems and patient-provided medical equipment. You will assist in troubleshooting medical devices and patient-facing app issues, complete Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), order device replacements, and potentially assist with patient onboarding.As a key player, you will collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure Brook's equipment is in optimal condition for operational use.This position is contracted at 25-29 hours per week, work from home.Job Requirements:
  • A proven track record of providing technical support in a healthcare environment.
  • Comprehensive support for patients, addressing hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Strong communication skills for managing inbound and outbound calls effectively.
  • Support patients with device setup and use upon delivery.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, and processes for future reference.
  • Cross collaborate with Brook's Third Party Logistics (3PL) and device support vendors.
  • Other projects as assigned.Preferences:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in help desk support with patients.
  • Proficiency in supporting both MacOS & Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, ZenDesk, Notion, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities and various demographics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Once onboard, this person will be trained to utilize our internal software and support tools.What Brook Offers:
