Job Description:

Position SummarySupport and maintain computer systems, desktops, andperipherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, andupgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstationperformance. Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, andprovide end user training and assistance where required. Duties & Responsibilities (includes but, not limited to thefollowing) Provide service desk and technical support to users Receive and respond to incoming calls, texts, and/or e-mailsregarding PC and/or hardware problems Evaluate, prioritize and respond to service requests with aresolution Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex PC problems for endusers, and recommend and implement solutions Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshootend user workstation software/hardware, networked peripheral devices, andnetworking software/hardware products Perform periodic system maintenance Place and escalate vendor service calls when necessary toresolve hardware or software failures Conduct research on computer products in support of PCprocurement and development efforts.Requirements 20% travel ability Have own car, with a clean driving record for local travel Can work flexible hours including weekends and evenings whenneeded Can meet the essential physical standards (attendance,walking, standing, lifting of 70lbs) Can work 8:30 AM - 5 PM shift. Qualifications A+ Certification Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in ateam-oriented environment Ability to successfully interact with all levels ofmanagement, other IT professionals and end-users Ability to juggle several projects/demands simultaneously Bachelors Degree in Information Systems a plus
