If you're passionate about IT, ready to start your career, and want to be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!Job Responsibilities:• Provide IT Support: Respond to service tickets, offering technical support to staff in person and remotely.• Manage Laptop/PC Deployments: Set up and deploy new laptops and desktops for employees, ensuring proper configuration and seamless integration with company systems.• Monitor Systems and Networks: Ensure the ongoing performance and security of company systems, including desktops, laptops, and networks.• Troubleshoot IT Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring that users can continue their work with minimal disruptions.• Assist with Onboarding: Create user accounts, manage access permissions, and assist with new employee IT setups.• Manage IT Tickets: Track and resolve IT support tickets efficiently, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner.• Travel to Client Sites: Occasionally travel to client locations for installations, troubleshooting, and system maintenance (company vehicle provided).• Maintain IT Documentation: Keep accurate records of IT issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.Job Requirements:• Experience: Some prior experience in IT support or help desk roles is a plus, but we'll provide training to the right candidate.• Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking is required.• Problem-Solver: Ability to troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical issues efficiently.• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with non-technical staff to resolve IT issues.• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative.• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in IT or related fields is a plus.• Driver's License: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites when needed.• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and transport computer equipment (up to 50 lbs) and move around the office as needed.Why Fox Valley Fire & Safety Co.?Join our growing IT team and contribute to a company that values excellence and innovation.
