IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager-Japanese Bilingual Job Num: 56021 h5Job DescriptionJapanese SOGO Shosha conglomerate trading company New York branch Seeks Japanese Bilingual IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager to understand their operation from a day-to-day basis supporting the corporate infrastructure. Will work with management to make improvements in operations and ultimately the satisfaction of the employees. Will work on defining the service level and ensure that they are meeting their expectations. This individual will lead infrastructure related projects of various sizes. They will need to work with IT consulting firm directly to support all project related activities including the management of other external third-party vendors. It is critical that this individual can evaluate the performance of all vendors involved to ensure the project is on schedule, deliverables are meet and within the defined budget. This individual will be communicating with Headquarters IT Department in Tokyo to receive direction and policies as well as reporting company's current project status and other related items.Exempt position Hybrid work style: minimum 2 days in office and 3 days remote work$131k-160k plus bonus and fabulous health benefits packageDuties/Responsibilities:Manage large and small IT infrastructure related projects focusing on communication, schedule, and budget.Take a proactive approach to monitor performance, identifying delays and understanding the dynamics.Act as intermediary between IT consulting and corporate , diligently bridging communication gaps and ensuring the timely completion of tasks for enhanced project efficiency.Work closely with IT consulting operational support team to improve operations and employee satisfaction.Performs and supports other related duties as assigned by Directors.Required:Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation across diverse cultures and business domains.Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and EnglishStrong attention to detail, consultation skills, and coordination skills.Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.Fluency in Japanese: The ability to speak, read, and write in Japanese would be an asset, as the company is a subsidiary of a Japanese company, and this would facilitate communication with the parent company and other Japanese stakeholders.8-10 years of experience in IT InfrastructureMinimum 2 years of project management experienceBachelor's degree or higher level of educationFamiliarity with IT infrastructure best practicesStrong understanding of MS Office products including Outlook, Excel and WordPMP or similar project management certifications is a plusCertified or understand COBIT or ITIL best practices.Basic knowledge in project management software.Managed or supported several major IT related projects in a corporate environment.Experience in assisting users with IT problems either by leading a support team or third-party vendor.To apply, please email your resume to ...@pasona.comJob DetailsCity: New York State: NY Job Type: Permanent Job Salary High: 160000.00 Salary Low: 131000.00 Languages: English;Japanese Hours of Operation: 9-5 Benefits: Health Ins;Dental Ins;Vision Ins;401K;Life Ins;Long-term Disability;Bonus;Paid Time Off;Paid Holidays;Short-term Disability;Sick Leave;Flexible Spending Accounts Contact InformationJob Owner: XiaoBei Jiang Job Owner Email : ...@pasona.com
