All applicants need to go to our website to apply www.prc-saltillo.com/careers Position Summary: The Infrastructure Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the tactical operations of the organization's IT infrastructure, including server infrastructure, network systems, desktop support, and help desk services. This role ensures seamless, secure, and efficient IT service delivery across the organization while driving continuous improvement and innovation. The Infrastructure Manager will be a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to guide and mentor teams toward operational excellence, efficiency, and alignment with business goals. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads, mentors, and develops infrastructure and Desktop Teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Contributes to the strategic roadmap for the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Provides leadership in the management and maintenance of physical and virtual server environments, including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.
- Oversees and provides leadership for the management and optimization of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), virtual private network (VPN), and other network services, ensuring high availability and security.
- Leads infrastructure lifecycle planning, upgrades, and routine maintenance activities to ensure maximum performance, uptime, and reliability.
- Ensures the implementation of robust backup and disaster recovery solutions, mitigating risk and safeguarding critical data.
- Oversees server performance monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization to meet the organization's growing needs.
- Collaborates with the security team to ensure that server infrastructure complies with all security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leads the desktop support and help desk teams, to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, key performance indicators (KPIs) are tracked and best practices are established for Incident, Requests, and Change Management processes.
- Leads the team in hardware and software provisioning, including desktop/laptop configurations, upgrades, and replacements, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to interpret business needs and requirements to implement solutions.
- Ability to lead projects, organize team members to accomplish tasks, and manage to deadlines.
- Ability to create and lead communications with business partners and vendors to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) concepts and processes including but not limited to: Demand Management, Capacity Management, Availability Management, Service Continuity Management, Service Level Management, and Architecutre Management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential challenges.
- Strong understanding of server virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Windows/Linux server environments, Active Directory, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security best practices.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or related technical experience and certifications is required.
- Minimum five years of experience supporting Linux and Windows Servers in an enterprise environment is required.
- Minimum five years of experience with server hardware platforms in an enterprise environment is required.
- Minimum five years of experience in automation is required.
- Minimum five years of experience with disk storage and backup/recovery solutions is required.
- Minimum two years of experience with cloud services and automation is required.
- 3-5 years experience in IT infrastructure management with proven track record in leading and managing high-performing technical teams is required.
