Job Description
The IT Manager position will perform the following duties:
* Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards
* Skilled in understanding the financial implication of all management decisions
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems through analytical reasoning
* Ability to maximize the performance of people and/or equipment
* Ability to make operating decisions in conformance with budget limitations
* Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple ongoing projects
* Ability to communicate management decisions to achieve understanding and acceptance
* Build and maintain effective relationships with leadership and staff at the OpCo as well as with other IT staff.
* Understand operationally impactful business functions from an IT perspective.
* Keep informed of technology in use and upcoming changes at the OpCo
* Plan, lead and execute IT projects and initiatives including system conversions, device and infrastructure lifecycle management and new technology implementations.
* End user coordination, asset management, implementation tasks and training/orientation of users in various technologies
* Work with departments and leadership in building and maintaining reports through various methodologies such as SQL, Excel, PowerBI and AS400
This position is typically a day shift position but will be required at times to work on other shifts as the need requires.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer BS in IT or similar degree and/or work experience
CompTiaA+ or Net+ Certificate preferred
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Cisco CCNA
