IT ManagerDepartment: IT Employment Type: Full Time Location: Kingston, NY Compensation: The target salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 and will be based on the individual's qualifications, skill-set, and experience in determining final salary. There will be an annual review for merit along with profit-sharing based on organizational and personal achievement. DescriptionWhat Success Looks Like As the IT Manager, you're eager to take your experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues to the next level as you contribute to our Industry 4.0 efforts. This role will be highly collaborative and cross-functional, supporting all team members across the organization, both in person and remotely, with questions around hardware and devices, networking and infrastructure, SaaS and platform optimization. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the complete set of IT services and support, including hardware and device troubleshooting, networking and infrastructure, SaaS and cloud services support, supporting end-users in-person and remotely
  • Responsible for supporting our existing network and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement
  • Responsible for creating self-service guides for all team members and ensuring they are updated and revised as needed
  • Responsible for monitoring and supporting internal IT Support Requests
  • Accountable for regular technical support in our facilities including but not limited to computers, printers, WiFi connection
  • Partner with various teams to identify areas for opportunity in optimizing and streamlining platforms
  • Partner with the People team to streamline the on/off-boarding processes, software licensing, and access to systems
  • Perform vendor evaluations for new services and manage ongoing costs and SLAs with vendors
  • Responsible for cybersecurity best practices and enhancements across the organization
  • Support with ad-hoc functions in IT-related areas
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years working in a fast-paced IT environment, including help desk experience, +2 years in a management or lead role
  • Proficiency in managing computer systems, networks, IT security, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills; ability to work both autonomously and under direction; Demonstrated project management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of engagement, willing to go above and beyond the call of duty
  • Flexible in approach, ability to adapt to changing priorities and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident to deal with all levels of staff across the business
  • Passionate about technology and its role in a creative business environment
