We are looking for a team-oriented IT Manager- Software Developer, based in Itasca, Illinois, with a can-do attitude to work on diverse and exciting new innovative global projects. About the RoleResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing the overall IT execution, delivery and ongoing support of the WMS IT solution supporting the WiaB North America facilitiesOwnership of IT business relationship representing IT at regional management level and as point of contact to syncreon's operations management, IT and business teams and into the corporate and regional functional IT teams and leadershipDirect management and coordination of WiaB IT Development team in the AmericasWork with WiaB Snr Management team to ensure software development execution meets the highest standardsWork with WiaB and business leadership to define IT roadmap priorities and act as the primary IT management & escalation contact for North AmericaEstablish a working relationship and support IT related activities within the local IT teams and with other Global IT shared service functional leadership such as PMO, Solutions team, Infrastructure, IT Security, back-office and the Enterprise Integration teamEngage as needed to successfully deliver roadmap functionality, new business and support new customer initiativesRepresent IT as a subject matter expert on local sites and escalation support as required Required SkillsExcellent communication and relationship building skills, positive attitude and pro-active problem-solving skillsBachelor's in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent professional experience within the logistics and supply chain industry5-10 Years' experience in management of IT delivery and engagement of corporate global and regional IT support functionsStrong IT background required with broad exposure to IT solutions design and delivery of high-end/high volume/complex solutions deployed on a global / international basisKnowledge and experience in IT management role supporting large scale logistics operationsDemonstrated leadership and supervisory experience required including significant dealings with external customersExperience and understanding of the logistics industry requiredKnowledge of software development and the Software Development LifecycleProject Management methodologies and toolsCompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
