At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewTE Connectivity's IT Operations Teams support hardware installation and configuration and ongoing maintenance of the computers/data centre. They coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. TE's IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.Responsibilities:Install, configure and deploy applications, hardware & operating systemsOngoing maintenance and support of Desktop/Laptop devicesBasic troubleshooting of hardware & softwareFollow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a systemWork with and support team members on various projectsProvide timely resolution of issuesWork in collaboration with our 3rd party support contractorDevelop documents and implement standard operating proceduresPeriodically provide 1st level support to users for all issues raised by phone, email, self-service or face to faceAny other duties as requiredRequirements:Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2 years' experience in a related fieldWorking knowledge O365 environment essential. Specifically, MS-Outlook & TEAMsKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within particular fieldExperienced knowledge of Networks and IT infrastructure.Demonstrated ability to drive & solve technical issues through to completionExcellent team playerResourceful, self-educating and self-motivatingExcellent team player with strong communication and customer-facing skillsYou must have strong organisation and time management skillsYou may be required to travel to and / or support other sitesMotivated self-starter with a can-do  attitude who works well to tight and varied deadline.ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITYTE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
